We were thrilled to attend the Vloggies in San Francisco this weekend. The event was hosted by Podtech and Revver proudly joined many other organizations as a sponsor. The evening was a huge success and a great opportunity to recognize artists and media-makers working in this new medium. It was a lot of fun and totally hilarious, and just might have been the most documented night in history.
Alive in Baghdad took home the award for Best Vlog. They swept the awards, winning in four categories and receiving a standing ovation. We were thrilled to meet some of the folks behind this important vlog, which really embodies the power of independent media on the internet.
We were also excited to see many Revver members take home some awards including Ask a Ninja (Comedy Vlog, People’s Choice Comedy, People’s Choice Funniest, People’s Choice Favorite Vlog), Ze Frank (Male Vlog & People’s Choice Political Vlog) and Invisible Engine (People’s Choice Viral Video).
Check out Robert Scoble’s complete winner’s list and the People’s Choice awards.
Thanks to Podtech for hosting such a great event and to all the talented and dedicated vloggers working to bring this new medium to the masses and to make the best personal media possible.
