LonelyGirl15 has recently joined the Revver family! LonelyGirl15 fans are up in arms about the recent controversy. Is she real? Is she fake? Who cares?! We love her show and couldn’t be more excited to welcome LonelyGirl15 into the Revver community. It looks like all the traffic is causing some outages at lonelygirl15.com but you can check out her videos on Revver.

This same topic was recently adressed from a slightly different angle - a Wall Street blog. Infoarbitrage says it’s all a matter of economics. The social networking market is maturing, and I do think that pay-for-performance will become an increasingly important part of the equation. If high-traffic bloggers can generate significant revenues from their sites, why shouldn’t those creating content (or buzz) for anothers’ site get paid for creating value? They should, they are and will do so at an increasing rate in the future. Just my two cents. […]
