Video of the Day: Duffle Bag Boys - Playaz Circle ft. Lil Wayne
Share this video
My friends and I are always arguing about how to carry our bricks of cash around. Fanny Pack? Too small. Back Pack? Too schoolboy. Plastic bag? No, those rip too easily. Paper bag? No, I need something with handles. It seems Playaz Circle were stuck in the same quandary but quickly settled on a duffle bag as the preferred portable cash coffer. Well, I guess that would work if it was a big duffle bag, or at least two medium sized ones.
Ludacris’s DTP Records presents “Duffle Bag Boys” by Playaz Circle featuring self- and New Yorker-proclaimed best rapper alive, Lil Wayne.
The Webby Awards Presents WebbyConnect

The Webby Awards are famous for only allowing winners a five word acceptance speech (The Beastie Boys last year: “Can anyone fix my computer?”). They like brevity, it seems, but verbal paucity is out the window for their first conference, taking place in Laguna Beach, CA in early October.
WebbyConnect aims to gather the various components of the Web world into one interactive 3-day dialogue. The speaker list is stacked, and the location is gorgeous. From their website:
Having reinvented the awards show, The Webby Awards brings its trademark flair and style to the staid world of industry conferences. WebbyConnect will bring together Webby Award winners, Academy members, and leaders in fields such as entertainment, advertising, and politics for an exclusive, three-day gathering exploring and charting the future of the Internet and emerging media.
It’s a bit spendy, so this probably isn’t for the casual participant. But if you work in an internet related field, you can spend three days at California’s only 5-star resort and write it off when tax time comes.
Video of the Day: The Next Internet Millionaire Episode Two

The second episode of The Next Internet Millionaire is up and running. Think Survivor meets The Apprentice meets The Internet (yes, with capital letters). Today contestants have a speed blogging competition and a branding challenge. Individual winners get immunity in the form of a Hacker Safe T-shirt, and losers get their heads on the chopping block. We’re all rooting for our very own Charles Trippy, and he looked like the safe bet today with an immunity granting win in the blogging competition. Keep it up, Charles, and you [pause] could be the next internet millionaire.
Video of the Day: Punchy 2

Everybody’s got that one friend who insists on punching everyone he meets in the face. What we forget is that those guys need jobs too. Luckily for Punchy, he’s just been hired at a top secret anti-terrorist agency, and punching people in the face is his sole duty. On his first day of work, Punchy meets Kicky. Punches and kicks are exchanged, Kicky turns into a blow-up doll, and Punchy punches him off the edge of a three-story parking structure. All in a day’s work.
Yes, it’s all super random and wtf-y, but it’s all hilarious. Take a gander at the rest of Wicked Awesome Film’s content through the wicked awesome widget on their site.
Video of the Day: Prom Queen - Summer Heat- Ep. 1 - Lost & Bound
Share this video!
If you never saw last season’s Prom Queen, you might want to catch up here. [Two hours later] Now that we’re all on the same page, welcome to season two: Summer Heat. The kids from Edward Adams High School got a few months to decompress after the school year’s strange happenings, but they’re back again and apparently can’t stay away from the mysterious and macabre. It looks like this season will be another mix of text messages, death threats, and push-up bras, but with an I’m-not-in-high-school- anymore maturity. Starting off strong, Ben gets bound and kidnapped. Where are they taking him? All I can say is that it rhymes with Fexico.

Video of the Day: Crime Time - The Getaway

Crime Time continues its Monday residency on Revver, but I have to revise my earlier hypothesis regarding Shifty’s notoriously bad luck. Nothing bad happens to him today. In fact, something really good happens to him. Shifty is walking around the city, presumably minding his own prison-escapee business, some dude walks up to him and trades a nice coat and a fistful of cash for Shifty’s striped shirt. Shifty goes on his merry way with a new set of duds, and the other dude ends up arrested. As such, my new hypothesis is that Shifty’s bad luck is not actually his—it’s his shirt’s. So here’s the deal, Shifty, next week when you bust out of jail (because somehow I know you’ll end up back there before next Monday), the first thing you do is take your shirt off. You’ve got a good thing going, so stick with it.

Video of the Day: Satacracy 88 - ep10 part 1

The general level of intensity in the Satacracy series is somewhere between a Slim Jim commercial and that bank robbery scene in Point Break. Somehow 88 stays cool and calm throughout. If you haven’t already, raise your blood pressure with the first season here, and check back in after part 3 to vote for what happens next.
Nice Work iJustine

By now everyone who doesn’t live under a rock has heard about ATT’s crazy-over-the-top itemized iPhone bills, and for most you iJustine’s iPhone Bill video of her 300 page bill is to thank. The video went viral on arrival, garnering her a boatload of media coverage that appears to have made ATT take note. That’s right, ATT is doing away with itemized billing and making a several page summary the default bill for all subscribers. Nice work iJustine - the forests of the world thank you.

These Blerds guys have a pretty good shtick. They take stand up comedy routines and act them out with the routine as narration or dialogue. It’s a welcome tweak to the sketch comedy tradition that has recently been given new life on the internet. Add to this the fact that it looks like they’re using really expensive cameras, and you get a winner of a short. Once you’re done with the above, check out this one in which the comic convincingly compares a penguin to an eraser and cuts both in half along the way.
